Some of you would have guessed this, and a handful of you would have already known… but the news is now official.

 

To Touch A Silent Fury will be re-releasing next summer with Penguin Random House’s brand new imprint, Berkley XO, in the US, and with Del Rey in the UK. 

 

We’ve also already sold translation rights in five countries:

• Germany

• Spain

• Hungary

• Ukraine

• Czechia

 

I’ve been sat on this news for four months now, and I’m really excited to finally be able to talk about it!! It has been a dream of mine to walk past a bookshop and see my book on the shelf, and this deal might make that possible.

 

Next year’s re-release is so much more than a re-badge. As well as an audiobook AND a new amazing cover from a dream cover artist (to be revealed)—we are also making tweaks to the text to improve the readability, aid the understanding of the world building, and strengthen some scenes. I am working strongly alongside with my editor to make this duology as good as it can be for readers old and new.

What this also means: TTASF's sequel is currently scheduled to release in early 2028.

 

I know that this will be disappointing to some of you who were hoping to read the sequel this year, and I want to apologise for that. I appreciate it’s a really long wait for those of you who’ve recently read book one, and an even longer one for those of you who read it as an ARC. But I hope you know that your early and mind-blowing championing of this book is what made this opportunity possible, and through that, we will have a sequel which is refined, beautiful, and just as deserving of the love you showed TTASF. Also, you read the book before it was cool, so, kinda gives you all big fat street cred. Next year you can point to it in a shop and say “I read the indie version” and we’ll both feel like rockstars. 

 

You guys who are here right now, reading this, are the reason I might be able to have full on career as an author. For that you have my undying gratitude, and I can’t wait to take you all with me on this next and exciting step in the journey!!

But for now, the indie versions will still be available to purchase for likely a few months. They will then be pulled from sale. I will be selling signed copies of the indie version through my website in July & August.
